Helena Pueyo, presented as Valencia Basket's new player on Movistar

Forward Helena Pueyo (1.83m, Palma de Mallorca, February 13, 2001, age 25) was introduced as Valencia Basket’s newest player for the next two seasons, through the 2027–28 season, at an event held today at the Movistar store in Valencia’s Plaza del Ayuntamiento

The Spanish forward arrives from Casademont Zaragoza, where she has competed for the past two seasons in the LF Endesa and the EuroLeague Women. In European competition, she averaged 8.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and a 12.4 efficiency rating, and was named to the competition’s third-best starting five. In domestic competition, she averaged 9.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and a 12.6 efficiency rating per game, earning a spot on the LF Endesa All-Star Team. With the Spanish national team, she won a silver medal at the 2025 EuroBasket and recently claimed bronze at the World Cup in Berlin.

In her first remarks, the new player said, “It means a lot to me to be here today, to arrive in a new city, at a new club, and above all, to begin a new chapter that I’m really looking forward to. I think we have a wonderful challenge ahead of us, with many goals, and I also want to thank the club for doing everything possible to make my arrival here possible, as well as everyone else who has been involved—and above all, for placing their trust in me.
